its £22 cheaper - the cue is made with a mini butt as standard.

lol - i guess maths works differently up north of the border
on your link 99.03 for cue + 49.99 for leatherette case = 149.02
original link = 142.40 with a few extras thrown in
But you are correct - money could be better spent

I got a one piece maple made by cue craft and ordered via Dave Gastrel while I was waiting on a "top" cuemaker to make me one.

Needless to say I'm using the cue craft.

I wouldn't have given a cue craft cue house room prior to that but it really is excellent, not expensive and Dave was excellent to deal with.

Does anyone know what butt and extension threads are fitted on a Cue Craft?

I have just purchased the Hercules model 3/4 with the extension, brilliant cues m8 can’t go wrong, yi need to sand it right down to the bare wood, get all the varnish off it, and give it a good polish with raw linseed oil ok 👍 and it’s not the snooker cue that makes the player it’s the player, find something your happy with ok 👍

Stephen Hendrys first cue was £30 out the catalogue, it was shocking, I seen it back in 1984, if there was a rack of cues it would be the last one you would pick, proves a point that although nice cues are good to look at but can you play with it ?
same as Golf, mi m8 paid nearly a grand for a set of clubs and I beat him with a set out the second hand shop for a tenna 👍

Anyway I’ve never had a 147, 138 is my highest. I was managed by Gary Wilsons old coach Stan Chambers whom sadly passed away. Beat a few pros in my time, Mike Halet, Jim Medocroft and the great Mr Hendry Himself. My claim to fame is not a 147 but a break of 72 - 15 reds, 15 yellows and the colours 😂
