Thoughts on Cue Craft Cues???

Hi guys, as some of you know im looking for a decent cue package, (budget of around 140 pound), and have came across a Cue Craft Hercules Cue http://www.johnparrottcuesports.com/...?id=615&cat=92 ... Which seems to be a good bargain, as it has a leatherette case, and screw in and mini extensions etc etc.

Are Cue Craft cues good? I was just wondering if you guys have any experience with these cues and if you think they are worth the money?

Chris Doesn't look like anyone knows much about these cues. Have you tried the search thread? Few comments from me.
1) Last year I got a brochure from Cue Craft and they were selling a cue, leatherette case etc for £100 plus VAT. Nice case and cue looked OK. Mini and long extension were included. Good value I thought.
2) Snookerpoolman on this forum is agent for Cue Craft so might be able to do you a deal. Give him a PM.
3) A very good player at my club (147 standard!) has a Cue Craft. Not sure of model. I'll see if I can find out.

I used to have one - 8th from the right in pic - it had a very slim butt which i didnt like, very good even splicings but then covered over with a thick layer of varnish/laquer - was going to remove it but then butt would have been even smaller so sold it on. These cues were from my experimental stage of buying diff. weights, woods etc. Price range £1.50 up to £200

Up to just past the splices on the shaft, (could of been rubbed down by a previous owner tho ?) but maybe not like that anymore ?? on that pic of the cue for sale it doesnt look varnished - maybe ring up and ask before you buy. Also ADR147 will probably do you a cheaper deal

Yeah im gonna ask him hes got alot of nice cues :P... Does the cue play well? I see on the specification the tip is 9.75mm, but thats still a nice size isnt it? and i see in the picture it seems to have a rubber stopper in the bottom were the mini butt goes in, does this come off to accomodate the mini butt and extension, or how does it work?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to get a new cue asap

If you click on "cue extensions" on that advert, (over on left hand side) 4th one down is for cuecraft, it is not a mini-butt, looks like you unscrew the cue butt and the extension fits direct to the shaft (same way as a John Parris Classic cue) - works fine just a bit slower. Tip size will be ok, mine played ok - just too heavy and too slim a butt for me (all just personal choices - best to ask what weights available and choose which you think is ok for you)

Just noticed that ad does say mini-butt as well ??? not sure how that works - ring up and ask

see if you click the link for the john parott website, it says the cue comes with an extension and a mini butt :S...
