It looks very nice on your cue, tbh. I'd never seen that wood before, especially not on a cue - is it going to be stable enough to stay straight over time? I hope so for you.
What you've done looks just fine, now all you have to do is get some splicing on the shaft and you'll be well on your way... :snooker:

I have some cracking red mali and brown mali that would make excellent splices.
