  • My New website

    Hi all.

    Just to let those who are interest ive launched a little website. It's currently a work in progress but any feedback will be welcomed.

    Things to come in the following weeks are:

    My timber list.
    Interactive drag and drop cue design.
    Links to useful sites.
    Cue care section.

    Hope you enjoy.

            Its called "Ipsum Lorem". Designers use it when there is no text content at the time.

                Yes it is indeed. Swiss steamed pear to be exact. That cue was made for an old forum member here (some may remember) called wity. Splice design is not my cup of tea but he is very happy with it as am I.

                  Thought it was,the orangey colour :-)
                  Not many cuemakers use pear that im aware of,apart from dragon cues in wales
                  May i ask what sort of price range will that be on the site?

                    Well i wont have a price range nor will i have models, I just want to make cues that are unique to each person. I only have a starting price. For example a standard ash and ebony would be £230. Whereas if it was pear and ebony it would be £250. Pear is not alot more than maple to be honest. Thing is working with it involves alot of "settling" time as it is prone to warping and also finding a good piece that is playable can be a minefield. Luckily a timber merchant I got working with helped me out no end and found a lovely piece and turned out nice in the end.
