I forgot to add one cue. I have a Gravity Cue that I will sell for a really good price. It's brand new and never been used except for testing.

I got one of the lighter ones at 19.2oz and it seems to be a well made cue and perfectly straight.

If anyone is interested PM me as I will have to dig out my receipt and see what I paid for it and set a price. Just never thought about it sitting on my pool table gathering dust

      Hello Terry,
I am new to the Snooker Forum, I am a fellow canuck living in Kingston, Could you send me an email at sharkster63@sympatico.ca. All of your cues are very nice, I was thinking of getting an O'min, I presently play with a custum Cue Wizard Peradon Maple shaft plain ebony butt with 9.5mm tip, Kamui Black tip. I am very happy with this but would like to be able to reply to you via email. I am not that computer friendly.

      Cheers, Mate,

        Hello Terry,
Further to my last I would like to try a heavier cue, 8.5 -9.4 I have always played wih a 17 oz and think that I should experiment. If you email me when you are in kingston we can go play a few games at the Montreal Street Legion, best place to play in Kingston.

        Cheers, Mate,

So far, only one sold and one traded.

As I want to get rid of some of these cues I would accept any REASONABLE offer, although there have been a couple of lowball offers on the H&O.

Why do people ask you for lots of extra pictures and then put in a really lowball offer? I don't think they ever really intended to buy the cue anyway and are just yanking my chain just because they can

              George:

I'm sure you consider your offer a genuine one but from my perspective it just makes no sense at all, and here's why.

First of all shipping a cue to the UK costs me 60quid so I was sharing the cost of shipping with the buyer in order to get the sale done. In addition, the case with this package is a brand new black sturdy aluminum worth at least another 40quid.

So my net return on this cue when I look at your offer is less than 200quid and I feel that's a little too much of a loss considering this H&O is in pristine shape, comes with a brand new case and 2 extensions also in perfect shape.

I just sent a cue to France and the cost was around 80 quid. Now if you were willing to accept surface postal delivery of 6-8 weeks for this cue, which would cost me around 30quid then I could consider your offer.

But on the other hand I believe you are looking to get a really great cue for the price of a medium great cue and I don't want to subsidize the buyer by too much.

                Hello Terry,

I have browsed the pictures and the descriptions, I have come to the conclusion that the best cue for me is your #8 cue New Aurora 3/4, 58", 19.1oz, 9.4mm, 29mm balanced at 17"- 350pounds. The omin tip is 9.2 and I think this would be a problem for me. I will email you an offer.

Hope you post a pic of your new cues when you receive them.

                Cheers, Rolly C. sends

                  Hello Terry,
I am not familiar with Aurora cues, I have seen many great reviews and seen pictures of his other cues on this website, prices were not included. Could you send me a sealed envelope with the price you want via email of course. I will see if this is in my budget.

                      Hi Rolly,
I am the one who built the 3/4 Aurora cue for Terry. It features a 20 years old ash shaft.
In case you were wondering, the price Terry is asking for is cheaper than if you buy direct from me.
For whatever it is worth, I am not taking any new order nor do I have any cue in stock for sale at the moment.
                      Hope this helps.
                      Thank you.

I sent the email with my price in CAN$ for you plus approx shipping to Kingston. I have dropped the price from what I paid for the cue from poolqjunkie but it is still brand new with an Aurora layered tip on it, a new 3/4 case and new extensions.

Reply to my email if you're interested. It is a quality cue

Boy oh boy, the only people making any money from these cue sales we do here are the courier or postal companies.

I can't believe it costs me 80pounds to send a cue overseas but only about 25pounds to send a cue across Canada, which is about the same distance as to Europe.

I'm going to have to stop doing this or else stick to Canadian buyers as who is going to pay an additional 80pounds for a cue?

                            Hello Terry,

I cant wait to try out this new Aurora Gabon and Ash cue, ebony wood to ebony wood joint and Aurora tip. The cue looks beautifull in the pics. Going to play some snook with my brother in quebec for the long weekend.
                            Cheers Mate

and thanks for your patience with the payment.

Hope to meet you at one of the tourny's in T.O. some time.

It is also not always the same price when you ship a cue from a country to Canada or from Canada to the same country via the same courier.

Sometimes going one way could be $20-$40 more expensive than the other, although you would think they should take the same amount of time, cover the same distance, and use the same amount of fuel.

This happens with shipping within Canada as well sometimes.

Yes, I'm going to see as I quoted $35 for Canada Post to send my Aurora 3/4 with case and extensions from just north of Toronto to Kingston, which is about a 3hr drive. That's about the closest I could come what with their fuel surcharges and our lovely new HST on everything (even bloody funerals!)

It cost me $148.62 to ship a 1pc to France by courier and $123.66 to ship just a 3/4 cue to Malaysia via Canada Post.

However, I got exactly what I paid for with the cue and case to France as it arrived less than 2 days later!

I expect with Canada Post and the long weekend the cue I post to Kingston tomorrow will likely not arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday at least!

Although when you sent me the cue it did arrive in 3 days I believe.

Jeez, now even in death a Canadian cannot escape taxes! Gotta pay for those bureaucrat's perks somehow I guess.
