Hi im new here and this is my 1st post, i have recently bought a new Peradon Cambridge cue from the internet for around £120. Im not totally convinced its 100% genuine.
The splices look to be painted on and not hand spliced. The cue has a Peradon logo embedded into the but of the cue and it looks to be as straight as an arrow.
I want to know if there is any sure fire way of knowing if its fake or not, or if im just being paranoid ?
The top splice there is scratch where you can see the grain of the wood, and the black paint round the back of cue is not very thick in places, you can clearly see the grain of the wood.
Any help would be warmly welcomed
Thanks Steve
