just been chatting to ken no make ever on the cue, he said its not even burwatt champion quality, he has it 30 years, he said it could be 50- 60 years old. it is machine spliced, it is just a machine spliced club cue . you would not want it or play with it if you seen it, the ash is not even attractive very plain, just that its old and mature he got it of the club cue rack in the club he played when he was 10 years of age, and to this day love's it and would never change,
, About 5 years after that a cue maker called Barney Grafton did some work on the butt for him. repaired the bottom of the butt. the only mark on the cue is the letter (s) which is on the shaft just above the splice's. the ash in the cue I would say my self would be english ash very mature. the butt is very black heavy ebony which is expensive today
About 20 years ago he got a replica made I think by john parris, just in case his own got broken, he has never used the replica
