  • Is there any place to sell snooker cues in ontario

HI All, I am new to here......and I just came to Canada 3 months ago...I live in jane and finch now ....is there any place for snooker cues in my region?

I want a good quality cue and my budget is around 200-250 CAD....i don't mind a 2nd hand cue as long as it is in good condition.....so if anyone got a nice cue to sell, plz leave a post here, given that it is within my budget......

and I will have to try it on, so make sure you are in Canada so we can meet up : )

Welcome to Tsf mate.. there are many Canadian on this forum. To many too be name.
      I recommend Terry Davidson - http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board/member.php?u=13363 and Poolqjunkie - http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board/member.php?u=4186.
Terry has got few nice cue with him..and he is a qualified coach. You can go over his place to try out the cues.
As for poolqjunkie(or Airin) he is a cuemaker himself. You can check out his album about his work.

Not really. Snooker is no longer as popular in Canada as it is in Hong Kong. That said, you can buy Dufferin snooker cues from F.G. Bradley's (closest one to you is located in Fairview Mall). Alternatively, You could have a cue made here or in the UK, if you upped your budget. Otherwise, I agree with others that have advised you to contact Terry Davidson. He seems to have cues coming and going regularly, and should be able to to sort something out for you.

thx man.....I can raise the budget, only if it is deroo, TW, H&O, JP etc........but it seems that in Toronto it is hard to find retail stores having these brands......I would prefer to buy second hand cues actually, but seems that most people in this forum are not in Toronto and I do not want to buy something that I cannot try out before I buy it......

btw, I would still love to try out different cues made in Toronto...
I heard that shooters snooker and sports club have some cues for sale...do you think it is valid?
let me post a thread again......

I'm in Toronto, as well. You won't find any store here stocking UK snooker cues, other than Riley or low-end Peradon. I have seen pool cues for sale at Shooters, but I haven't been there recently, so no idea what is currently on offer. If nothing else, go there and chat some folks ups, you might find someone willing to sell you a cue. Also, Annex Billiards has a good deal of regular snooker players. You might try putting up a wanted ad there. If you want to get together for a game of snooker, you can email me at dearl.houser@gmail.com. You can try my Deroo 3/4, but it's not for sale

OK, so this guy (dllmissbad) emailed me and asked. I told him I had a few good cues and gave him some prices.

His offer was at 33% lower than my price so my belief is he is looking to get a decent cue for nothing. He offered me less than 200quid for my H&O Red Plate with extensions and case.

I asked him to get real and not to bother if that was what he thought he could get a good British cue for.

However, I also told him when he gets back to HK to try O'min or UT as they will have a decent cue in his obviously low price range, as he abviously can't afford to pay the full freight for a really good cue.

I hate people who waste my time by making unreasonable offers

My offer is 450, and I mistyped it as 350..........that is it.....I am not trying to waste anybody's time.....I got my life too
and I said to you mu friend can afford more....so if you have some nice cues I would love to try out and consider it.....did I tell you that?
