For your spec, i doubt most cue-makers cant do it for you.

But the end boils down to the budget for your cue cos every cue maker charges varies.

Hope you find the suitable one soon.

Think the slow taper might be equivalent to what used to be the old parabolic type taper which is one I prefer.trevor white quoted me on such a taper with no qualms so he might be your man

            What is a slow taper?
I think almost any cue maker can make this cue, whether it would play really well is another matter.
Does a regular one piece case hold a 60" cue?

              slow taper

yes i would like to know as well,as far as i know if you have something a certain length and taper down its generally the lenght which defines the taper, you can have like the old billiard cue parrallel for a certain distance or you can have a short taper at the end or you can have a equal taper so i would like to know if ime wrong somebody let me know

Hi all and thks..Slow taper, I got the term from John Parris, think I got it right ..obviously meaning a gradually tapering from the butt, so the body/middle of the cue is meatier than a standard taper.
Playing for the last 25yrs my experience has mostly been extending form JP or RO. I think the shaft dowels that most cue makers use come in a certain size so..or its just a pain in the bum for them.
