    Quick update, recieved the cue and is in great condition for age and looks to be 99.99% straight to my amateur eye. Cant use it though probably till the weekend!

        they are still machine made cues and thats double the money of a normal one!

          ...and I think Andrew's valuation is high side in todays market too. They don't come better than the original posters cue and that was only £85. You see less perfect cues at £50-70 often.

              That's very very strange.. I've had at least 5 147 cues and never paid more than £50. I've picked up a couple for under £30!
