      theres nothing worse than having your cue stolen at any time of year nevermind xmas, i had my cue stolen around 9 months ago and cant find anything close to it in terms of feel, its an awful to happen, im using a trevor white cue now but it just doesnt feel right for me so ill be having a look in january for something slightly different.

      it really is like losing an arm i feel sorry for you mate

          Sorted but cue not posted yet. I was sure I had a tube from
          a cue I bought but am a Dutchman if I can find it. I'll get a tube tomorrow and post it so all will be well shortly.

              was your cue in club m8 i had an arguement with mine when they sed they would take care of it and i came back 2 weeks later and it had warped

                  I know fellas, what a great gesture!! Just waiting now for it to arrive...hopefully within the next couple of days and I can start the New Year with a new cue.

                        i had a tombstone,and can understand your loss,they really are a great player,if anyone gets the chance of one i would urge them to buy it,for the price they can't be bettered(don't know why i sold mine)

                          I totally agree Flame. When I was first robbed of my old faithful Burwat Champion I never thought I would be able to play again. Mainly 'cos I'd had it from being 14 years old. However I'd been given the Tombstone by an old lad in my snooker hall in the mid 80's, and was sort of forced into playing with it after my loss.
                          However , now thats gone too and luckily if you've read the first part of this thread I am soon to receive an old Riley cue from jb134.

                          Sure I will be able to get used to it...I have to...I will post again after a few sessions practice with it in the New Year.

                                I'd disagree there, I've had several and would say only one plays well the others were/are very whippy. I think you two were both lucky!
