Henry mate im not asking people to give me a cue i was asking if people had old cues or cues they want to sell im not a charity case and i know that now people leave there cue at the club as they dont think a thing like this would happen and yes the police have been informed they are going to do everything they can and i have just been given and an old piece cue by my dad which him and my uncle used to use to play when they was younger its a bit worse for wear but it will do and if any of the members can tell me where i could get some splicing done on it just want to make it look more fancy if any members could tell me where to go around my area that would be much appreciated. Also henry no i have not put my foot through it at times i could do when playing not so well.

I agree with Matt. I have never left my cue at my club and have been playing seriously since 1979. The 2 cues I have had stolen from me were both from break-ins at my house, so just be a little more aware before you accuse someone of freeloading please.

A stolen item is a crime no matter where it is taken from.

Sorry to hear about guys having cues stolen. If you have never had a piece of personal kit taken you won't appreciate how annoying and really upsetting it can be.

One day I am going to mark all my rack cues. I know it won't stop somebody lifting them but at least it will eneble me to identify them later.

After posting it did occur to me to suggest you look on ebay. Not to buy a cue but to see if anybody is trying to sell your cue.

My thoughts too, hope he doesn't have such misfortune bestowed upon him in the near future!

actually what i said was that i thought it was a patronising post - which it was. are you saying it was not? whether the guy is asking for a free cue or not is not my issue i just chose to ignore that, but you did without question lay into him.
