  • My TW Cue

    Hi everyone, I took delivery of my TW cue a couple of weeks ago and I told Trevor I would would leave a message on the forum with my thoughts..

    My first thoughts after removing the cue from the package...... amazing!. Smooth shaft and made to a very high standard.

    I have had quite a few personal problems recently and snooker/pool hasn't been my main focus over the last couple of months so I haven't really enjoyed playing as much as I usualy do.

    I found the cue really hard to play with for the first 4-5 times even with a couple of hours playing each time. I just felt my cueing action was totaly off and its probably because the specs are slightly different to my bent 3/4 JP Champion cue. I think I am used to it now and feel more confident with it. I'm not an amazing player, I very rarely make 20+ breaks but I have hit some amazing shots with this cue over the last few games.. It just feels right which is really odd because one day the cue just feels strange, the next it feels right.

    Overall I am extremely happy with the cue and a big thanks to Trevor White for making it for me. I now need to order a mini butt and extension to make it a complete set.

    Here are the specs, Pics are taken on my phone so not really that great. Couldn't get a detailed enough picture of the shaft so not going to bother uploading it.

    One piece ash shaft
    9.5mm
    butt = 29.5mm
    18oz's.

    ebony butt with four lower splices of masur birch, over thick veneers of ebony and maple.

        A very nice cue pdwhelan. How long has he been fitting cues with loudspeakers? He never gave me that choice. lol

        If you cannot get on with it, then you can pass it on to me.

              Will you be taking some better pics in the future and putting them on here? I'd really like a better look.
              Thanks
              The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

                I'll do my best, I need to get hold of a proper camera though.
