I have a Very Rare Old Hand Made John Parris Custom 3/4 Cue For Sale.....Made by John Parris Himself in Late 1980's/1990's.

The Cue is that Old it doesn't have a Socket in Butt for Extensions, But it does come with Tele Extension which Screws onto Top Shaft.

This Cue has never Been Fiddled with or anything!

As you can See from top of the Splices it has the Genuine John Parris Brown/Red Burn Marks as all Genuine John Parris Cues Have.

Very nice cue, virtually identical to mine (except mines 9.3 ferrule)
You do know even brand new Parris cues come without butt joint
And burn marks ??? i always thought it was the glue used to stick the splices on with, and its usually red

That's not strictly true about the base joints - the stock Ambassador, Regal & Exclusive cues all come with a base joint as standard.

Sorry i wasn't clear enough, i was referring to the Classic model as shown for sale here. One (maybe) interesting point, the weight of the extension which connects to the shaft is exactly the same as the butt. So when using it the overall cue is the same weight, dont know if thats good or bad really lol

LOL, Clearly I meant one like this! Still nobody has answered my queston though, what is a sensible offer for such a cue?

One thing I do now know is that if, as and when I get one made I'm just going to go the black route as it's just a truly great classic look for a cue!

As too be Honest this Cue wouldn't be Worth £100 to some People who dont know anything about Cues or what to Look For!

I thought I would Put Sensible Offers and my E-Mail Address to give Everybody a Fair Chance to Own a Rare Old Cue Made by John Parris Himself....Which Is Priceless as Most of the Newish John Parris Cues aren't Made by John!

If the chevrons on the shaft is more distinctive and uniformly spaced, i believe there will be alot of interested bidder.

But from the pics, it looks like just an early JP classic that is usually not fitted with a SD joint. From my understanding, JP classic and ambassador different is that one is fitted with butt joint while classic doesnt.

As for the red/brown glue or burn mark, it is just a indication that it is done somewhere before the early 2000s after which John changes his glue.

Finally, for those who are looking for a quality JP cue, i will highly recommend that you look for those with the distinctive glue mark. It marks the higher quality compared to those that are mass made by his workshop.

the glue changing was a bit later than that i bought a parris superior in 2004 direct from him that as the glue stain on the tips of the splicing which i still own and a parris ultimate in 2005/2006 (925) that also as the glue marks.

Guys I can Assure you this Cue was Made Well before the Year 2000 as a Close Friend of mine Bought it New Late 1980's early 1990's so its well over 15/20yrs old.

The Cue is Still FOR SALE.....At this Moment in Time althou there is Lots of Interest!!......So Be Quick!!
