Will hunt cue

I recently bought Will Hunt cue, registration number 256. It is a beautiful cue to use, perfectly straight and really steady through shot.

I wonder what the value of these cues are and how difficult to pick one up.

Yes I know what I paid but would like to see if the value I paid was about right so leave of the smart remarks.

It wasn't meant to be a smart remark mate. Can you see how dodgy your post seemed? Someone has a cue they "just bought" and wants to know what it's worth? Think about it.

I'm sure you genuinely want to know but things go on you know. Plenty of people on here will know, but it would help if you could get some pictures up.

Ok I understand, my apologies.

I will upload a picture of cue. I did own a paragon cue made by John Paris and traded this in against will hunt cue. The will hunt cue is just superior in many ways in particular the weight distribution is better making it a much more steady cue in action. I suppose it depends on player of course.

I'm sure lots of members will be interested to see your cue. There are many snooker retailers on here who will know exactly what it's worth, but I'm sure it will be worth more to you.

Does you cue look like this one ?

Yes it is a split colour similar to the one on the left but with the will hunt London badge shown, which is the same as your right cue and 256 etched above this.

Sounds like a very nice cue...are you planning on selling it if you find out that it's worth more than what you payed for it ?

A couple of months ago I put a snooker table in a large shed I built specially for the table and have begun to practice. Before this it has been years since playing. The table is an old oak table with nice tight pockets and I put a set of burrugh and watts steel block cushions on it.

It has taken me a while to feel comfortable with a cue and the previous parris cue just didn't settle with me but I do feel very comfortable with this will hunt cue and really intend to stick with it, but if I do change my mind I will be happy to let you know.

Will Hunt Cue

Hi Freind, Is your cue ASH or MAPLE? I recently bought 2 Will Hunt Cue's, One 1piece MAPLE, One 3/4 ASH with a round butt, The cue that Warren132 posted a picture early'er, I love the cue, Pity my ability doesent do the cue any justice, Kind Regard's George:snooker:

When rolling any of my other cues I have had on the table you always see the tip end either lifting slightly or dipping as they maybe slightly bent.

But with this will hunt cue it stays perfectly flat from butt to tip without any lifting as you roll it along baize which gives you a lot of confidence when looking down the shot.
