Man, you have some nice cues there Terry. Are they all the cues you own, or do you have more?

What cue do you use now? Not sure if this is right... but are you still waiting on a TW?

Gradz on your sales so far

I have had the TW for about 2 months and have been using it and like it.

I also have a top-of-the-line LK.T (expensive at about 500quid) which I haven't had a chance to try out as it's been back-to-back tourneys (all with really lousy draws, had Cliff Thorburn last weekend and lost 4-2 and Paul King who was the Northern Ireland Champ in 1998 yesterday in the last 16 and lost 4-0). Paul has played in 4 ranking tournaments so far and been in the final every time, winning 2 of them so he's really tough.

I'm really impressed with the LK.T and will probably keep it as my second cue although I have a used MW coming, along with a custom Robin Cook I'm going to pick up when I'm in England.

I also ordered a pearwood shafted 3/4-butt from Dan but I haven't heard from him in months and don't know what's happened there.

I wanted to try all the good cue manufacturers including Tervor, Aurora, Robin, LK.T, Omin, B&W and a few others. I prefer the TW right now and it seems an excellent cue and I will likely stick with it. Excellent workmanship and really good long potting and cueball control. The LK.T has the smoothest shaft I've ever come across, even more smooth than Trevor's.

The Robin Cook I'm selling is also a cue I would consider keeping as a second cue but for the fact I have a custom one ordered to my exact specs from Robin.

Based on price, workmanship and all over excellence I would say Trevor, Aurora and Robin top the list right now although to be fair I haven't tried a MW as yet. When I priced a custom from MW it came out over 800quid and I didn't want to pay that until I've at least tried one. The LK.T is really impressive but cost a lot although the quality is excellent.

Of course, remember I'm in Canada and a big chunk of the price I pay is for shipping so perhaps I'm being a little unfair as someone in Britain can get a MW for a better price than me and someone in China can get an LK.T at a better price too.

That sounds like a great tour. Hopefully we can get more Canadians playing on the MT again. Would be awesome to live in Canada and get some hard tour practice in. Different country, culture etc. It's good to dream LOL.

Glad you like your TW. Did you have much practice with the H&O? I've found the shaft on those to be very stiff and rigid. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing really. The throw on those cues do differ a lot from my JP of @ 14yrs.

Keep up the practice Terry. Maybe I'll start playing again some day. Haha.

Maybe I'll see if Fedia can sell them for me at 750quid each or something.

This is so funny, I love it.

          Good luck with the sales.

I guess it's not much of a 'tour' really, like the pros have but we have 12 ranking tournaments through the season and then around 10 more tournaments which are either invitational or else open. From the ranking tournaments we track results and the top 15 usually get their way paid into the Canadian Championships.

The one where Cliff beat me was one of the open ones with $500 added by the club owner. We seem to be getting more interest in snooker and I can only hope either a Canadian gets on the tour so we can get some TV coverage (Canadian content laws prevent that right now with no canuk on the tour) or else snooker gets into the Commonwealth Games or the Olympics.

I have to comment though, I just cannot figure out why snooker is not in the Commonwealth Games at least. Every country in the Commonwealth has snooker players and it would be nice to see that as then we would get some TV coverage.

The stuff you don't experience as you sell new cues. I got a lot of 'I'll buy the 'X' cue but I can't pay you until the end of the month' from someone I never heard of before or the one posted here where he wants me to bring over the 2 cues without committing to buying them.

Also, did one of my buyers contact you to see if you could accept 2 of my cues and put them in a case he's buying from you so he could save himself a little in shipping costs?

I have sold 4 of them so I guess that's not too bad and raised $1,000 towards my trip to England in April. Now if I could just sell another 2 or 3 I think I'll be OK. I have a good Robin Cook and also a brand new Omin which happens to come with a case too, both at knock-down prices.

I am hoping to see you upload your beloved cues to the 'post picture of your cues' thread Terry.

                  Hi Terry,
Yes, after I posted a link to this listing on my facebook page, I had several people asking me if I was closing shop trying to sell all the cues I had in stock.

                      Terry,

I love to see your cues which are not for sale, especially the newly arrived TW cue.

I will send you pics of the Robin Cook shortly (have to get to the computer in my training facility rather than this one).

Because I'm on a rural wireless broadband which is slow and not very reliable, it's a real pain to try and upload pictures into my album here as it usually takes me at least 2 attempts and this is why I've never posted pictures of my cue.

It would be wonderful to be able to just attach then to a post here just like I do with emails, but I guess there's some reason why that can't be done

I still have some of the cues left, the Robin Cook, Omin and most of the less expensive ones.

I also found out I now have an LK.T cue for sale as it doesn't meet my specs but I paid so much for it (it's a Family I shaft and titanium/brass jolint) I don't think anyone would buy it. The other thing that's very surprising to me is the shaft on this cue is the smoothest I've ever come across, even smoother than my Trevor White and the Robin Cook

The Robin Cook (refurbished by Robin to as new) has now been SOLD.

I still have some fine cues left. Make me an offer!

Have you always been a collector Terry, or just gathered a large range on the way to finding the 'one' for you?
