OK, all the really good cues have now been sold and thank you very much to all my buyers.

The unfortunate incident in this is the Omin Spirit was bought by a TSF member in London and Purolator (Canadian courier company owned 90% by Canada Post) destroyed it somehow even though it was packed in rigid plastic tubing with a crush weight of over 500lbs.

Luckily the customer accepted a deep discount on the Omin Perfect and because I was feeling a bit bad about it I threw in a new Omin case I have here for free, so he is getting an excellent deal as the Perfect was brand new and never used.

Now I have to see if I can get my money back from Purolator and also see if the butt is OK I might try and recover the shaft half of the joint and see if I can somehow get a new shaft made by someone or get a shaft blank somewhere and try and make one myself (but I have no lathe and I don't think it's possible without one).

What turns my crank is Purolator never called or emailed and it was UPS in the UK that contacted my buyer with the bad news. When I talked to Purolator customer service she told me thay had a note from UPS regarding damage claim but hadn't bothered to contact anyone.

Sounds like they certainly "Purolated" your cue!
Oh, and that's a bad miss.
