I believe you will have to find an old cue to get a joint like that, i dont think they are made anymore

Don't matter when you can play like that with it......

He had the cue off the late great Alex " Hurricane " Higgins it was from the maker Classic Custom Cues, i'm sure it would have been approx 17.5oz, as Jimmy used a lighter cue back in the day to the one he uses now.

I've had the cue in my hands many years ago...if i can remember right it was 8mm a very small tip for snooker and the guy that had it was Colin Gill (i think) and he played in the New World Snooker club in Wandsworth

The joint was not made of plastic but was turned out of saw fallen maple, purple heart or paduak by Mike Dunham of Classic Custom Cues. It was quite a good look back then. The cues in general were not that great but Jimmy could cue with most sticks anyway.!!! F.

I actually posess a Classic Custom 3/4 and yes the joint is turned from maple and has Classic Custom Cues above what looks like a Greek pillar engraved on the joint.Alternating green and red splices, quite fancy for the time, but still functional.
