  • Selling Hand Made Acuerate Ash Cue 3/4 57" 18.75oz 9.25mm

    Hello every one.

I decided to sell my Hand made Acuerate 3/4 ash cue.

    Cue specs:

    57",18.75oz,9.25mm elk tip,butt diameter 29mm. balance@17.5".
Ebony butt with 4 thick maple veneers and 4 thin bronze colour veneers in the middle of the butt.

Stiff shaft with beautiful feel and playing ability.
    Unmarked and well look after.

Beautiful cue with exceptional shaft, straightest grain on the side. Superb value for money. It was made for a top 16 professional snooker player. I bought this cue 2 years ago after he been told by his sponsorship to start playing with 1 piece cue. Absolute rubbish in my opinion but this is not my problem.

7 times world champion Stephen Hendry in my opinion the best ever player to pick the cue achieved massive result with Acuerate cue. Information can be found on the. www,acueratecues.com.

£310 posted in Uk, Can be posted overseas for additional charge.
Cue alone no extensions or case.

Email me to kezman1711@aol.com if you interested to buy this cue.

Cue is for sale on ebay. this is the link

    Thanks

what was this massive result Hendry acheived with an Acuerate then?

To my knowledge he's not won a single tournament since using one so if that constitutes a massive result I'd hate to think what he could have acheived with a decent cue!!!

Oh and by the way here is a more realistic price for an acuerate cue sold this week http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-4-Maple-Snoo...item33645f0a24

I think at least £100 over priced IMO in the current climate.

Lol my one not the same, its ash and specially made. You talking about standard range cues and not custom made. You can't buy this cue from the web and if you want one to be made you must go to Belgium.

Go to the www.acueratecue.com and read

              cue prices

this forum is soon going to be full of bandits thinking they can charge stupid prices.get real, get a shop, and look your customers in the eye as you pretend to know what you"re talking about.although the cue makers concerned might be secretly pleased you are overvaluing their product, at some point the resentment could filter back to them.everytime one of these stupid offers occur please would the relevant cue maker offer one at list price
              to put it into perspective

Let's be fair folks...the value of an item is dictated not by what you are asking but by what people are willing to pay for it - it's called "Market Forces".

E bay is atremendous leveller in that respect - most who use it know the value of items and what they are willing to pay.

I feel a sense of Karma descending over me - let it also descend over you.

This is some sort of joke right??? £310 for an Acurate cue without extensions or a case? I met with Chris Henry at Sheffield when he was still managing Ebdon and the Acuerate cues had just been launched. I tried out the cues with Chris in the Cue Zone when it was closed between sessions, with a view to stocking them. Didn't really think that much of them to be honest...just a very stiff shafted cue....

Suppose some poor deluded soul may be daft enough to pay stupid money - I could supply same cue Hand Spliced, brand new around £150 - £200 depending on the woods used... And as for £1600 for the H & O.....don't even go there...

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask....

You found them cues very stiff? I always thought they are supposed to be very whippy, hence the low deflection.

My cue is stiff but has feel in it. A friend of mine who i am practicing with got john parris exclusive and it cost him over 400. My acuerate cue is 10 times better than his john parris exclusive.Just to compare.
You will pot many more balls with this cue than with normal cue thats for sure. A touch of unwanted side will not effect your pot. Trust me after a few weeks you will improve your potting by 30-40% with this cue. I called it a dream cue!!!:snooker:

Confused by this comment Airin, surely a whippy cue will deflect more, so you need a stiff cue to stop that

LOL, yes indeed, it's like those new fangled golf clubs that any so and so can use that makes your shots better despite your lack of accuracy.

I might buy this cue now as I recon I can make regular 147's despite my highest ever break being 46 15 years ago when I played every day on a table with big pockets.

                            One day I'll make a century, I've knocked in a 51!

Exactly what I thought when I read it...thank you JRC for confirming my sanity!
