Thanks Wayne G : Saw it. Interesting design. I have got a lot of curly maple that look like these middle splices. Will pick best pieces for my next cue (I am targeting to do one or two beautiful cues every month with different splice woods).
BTW, my cuemakers just called me. They found 'unknown' wood sent by their sawing mills today. Looks like birdseye maple, but with interesting pattern and in gold color. Need to check it out this weekend. Perhaps this one will do also. I will work the splices myself. Of course in 12 splices and great ash arrows. Happy to find this new cuemakers team
