Yes that is correct and maybe this older gentleman did have "a bad day" as you say it. But please don't imply that my expectations were "sky high" and perhaps that contributed to the poor service.

The service involved was a very basic cue alteration.

Whilst you make excuses for this without any knowledge of the specific circumstances please be aware the standard of customer service I received left quite a bit to be desired.

Perhaps if you were on the receiving end you might still put it down to "a bad day" and forget about the money you forked out and the 9hrs of driving back and forth . But others may not. I certainly don't think it acceptable !

Anybody can have a bad day depending on what else is going on, and generally in life today expectations are sky high, so there's destined to be disappointments sometimes.

I don't know if your experience was recent, but certainly the last few months they've had some pretty big problems, and it's been and still is a stressful time - like you say anyone can have a bad day, unfortunately they've had more than most recently.

Of course sharing your experience is good people need a balanced opinion, but you haven't told us much detail other than being surley/unhelpful was the work done up to scratch? value for money? etc?

Why dont you tell the full story then?

Have you even told Dave about your disappointment in the service / repair? Maybe he could do something for you?

Don't get me wrong i wasn't trying to make excuses for anyone, its none of my business and i don't know about the specific details so i was just talking generally.

Didn't mean your personal expectations were sky high, as i said everyone is entitled to there own opinion based on there personal experiences.

I always say things as i see them from the information i have to go on.

Wasn't trying to offend you i was just talking generally that lots of things go wrong sometimes through misunderstandings, expectations etc.

But if you've received poor service then thats a shame but i would hope it could be sorted it with Craftsman amicably, as many have received excellent service from them, myself included.

                Hi,

i have been using Craftsman for about 15 years now. Fantastic blokes, father and son set up with 2 other very experianced cue makers working for them. Very nice cues with unbeatable value for money.

                Many thanks

                Chris
