Must be a custom order as I couldn't find this design on the GBL website

He's been through quite a few lately, wouldn't be at all surprised if hes smashed a few at some point. The robin cook cue didn't seem to last long.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe that Maguire is now the first player to win major ranking event titles with an ash cue and a maple cue. I can't think of any other player in recent times doing this.

Has he not always used maple ?

No he used a 1pc ash cue to win his first few tournaments with but then he had it altered but it wasn't right for him so that is when he started changing cues. He has basically only tried out maple cues since so maybe the change in his game meant he feels more suited to a maple cue than ash.

Just spok to one of his practice partners and they told me he won the uk with an ash cue but he changed to maple because his stubble was getting caught in the grain.

He used to have an Ash John Parris Ultimate, seen it up close when he played Jimmy White in Spencers at the Regal Masters qualifying event one year.

Don't think he had a stubble problem way back then!!

Seems a bit of an odd reason to switch cues, just shave a bit more often.

Steven Maguire suffers quite bad shavers rash - hence reason why he has Doctors note permitting him to wear open shirt / no tie. I know a few players who prefer Maple for the very same reason.

A good bit of camera work by ITV4 showed an interesting view of Stuart Bingham's cue. It seems to have been amended quite a bit and has a very interesting indentation as shown on the photos.

Anyone know what he had had done?
