      Stuart Bingham's cue??

Cheers for that Andrew, I had never thought to look at the Sight Right system as in the mid 90s I bought a plastic clip that attached to your thumb to help you cue over balls and decided after one use that there was no technology that would ever help my game.

Just saw the video and description of the idea and to be honest I can't see that it improves you aiming. you still have to deliver the cue in a straight line and many pots demonstrated showed dead straight pots which obviously the line is going to be dead straight. However cut back angles into a blind pocket or thin snicks are not going to benefit from this so really what is the point.

So long as you walk into the shot properly most players instinctively know the line they need so constantly looking down on your cue to line up with a line seems an overly complicated waste of time because if you have the cue ball in good position most pots should be relatively straightforward anyway. Strange how they don't show an example of a more difficult pot over distance showing the technology but that would be asking too much and I don't know how many edits they could get in the video!

Yes it is definatley a Sight Right Cue. I agree all they show are straight pots. I have a coaching session coming up Monday afternoon with Cliff "The Grinder" Thorburn he is the Sight Right Ambasdor for Canada and North America. When I spoke to him on the phone he told me to check out the website. I hope to get a first hand demo when I see Cliff on Monday.

Most players walk in on theline they think or feel to be right line of aim, the sightright is designed to guarantee you walk in on the right line of aim time after time, I have contacted steve feeney myself recently to see about some coaching. Ifyou lookat guys like bingham, mark davis etc they have always been good players but I think since working with sightright there games have gone to another level, couldbe coincidence but its obviously not just a gimmick.

I agree there has to be something good in it or these big names would not be associated with it. Jimmy White is the Global ambassdor. Interesting to see Bingham actually playing with it and not just having his name asscoiated with it and playing with something else. Did anyone see if Gould was playing with one? He is also on the You Tube video.

I take it this works because if the two lines don't look like one you must be cueing across the line, so even if you have the tip in the centre of the white you could be cueing across it if the butt is slightly out, this makes sense to me(if I have understood it) the only thing I don't understand is the lines are at the butt end and you can't see them as you get down, probably this is explained on the coaching courses , or do you place the cue online then get down onto it, Dell Hill style.

Yes I think that is the idea. Watch Bingham today and see how he uses it.

Yes me too. I will have to put up live scoring on my cell. I have a qualifier to play in today. But let me know how Bingham sites with it. I think I will call Cliff early on Monday and tell him to bring one with him so I can actually see how it works.

He is just getting online like anyone else Les, he's not using the lines, so I take it it's something you do in practice, get it drilled into your game then you don't need it. He does have a very nice shot routine .
It's on the tv here Mythman, itv4 I don't know how you would watch that online.

                            Stuart Bingham's cue??

I can see the value in having Jimmy White as global brand ambassador because he knows plenty about little white lines!
