With these sightright cues etc... looks like it could be easily done on your playing cue, saving you £'s
Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

Well I had my 2 hour coaching session with Cliff Thorburn this afternoon. What a great guy makes you feel like you have known him for years. After our session he pulled out the Sight Right cue and is defiantly not something you could not fabricate on your own cue plus they have a pattend on it and it has been okayed by the IBSF for tournament play. There is also more to it such as the aiming pad. The reason they work with it on a straight shot is to get you walking into the shot on the correct line of aim with out the lines going off Center. He has the Sight Right Pro with him which sells for $349.95 pounds pluss shipping. The cue played great and I am sure Bingham uses it because once you are training with it then you would want to use it all the time. You can always check your sighting on the practice table when things are not working right.

No I am saying it really works, and I was able to walk in to my shot with lines staying aligned. What I was saying is you could not build these lines into your existing cue. Cliff said it has really made a difference in his game.

Ah ok, so I take it you place the cue online and then the lines keep you on that line?, but you have to pick the right line first ?, or does it help you pick the right line, now that would be something to look into.

Yea thats what we need to invent. Setup a laser in each pocket then use a clear OB. When you turn on the laser it projects a line through the OB which then teaches you where to aim. Good idea.

You can't put light through a sphere without it deflecting or refracting ,as far as I know, unfortunately , but I wonder if a little head light laser aimed at say blue, would show up where your head is and if there was any movement on the shot.

Possibility. If you get a laser that went from pocket just over the top of OB you be able to see the line of aim.

I had no idea where it was made.

I thought it was Sight Right, not Cue Right?

I've got to say I'm not totally convinced with this sightright cue......

If your not picking the correct angle to start with it isn't really going matter how you walk in on the shot!!

And all the shots they demonstrated were dead straight which of course would work quite easily with it......

The whole idea is you are suppose to sight the right line before you get down on the shot so this teaches you to get down on the line you have sighted. Every shot is straight from Cue Ball to BOB. The idea is to practice dead straight shots and work on getting down on the right line.

Ahhhhh..... I see what your saying, so if your still missing pots that means are then either not selecting the correct angle or delivering the cue straight.

I'm I on the right lines of thinking now bud??
