ebay john parris cue

I would say it's almost certainly a fake. the wrighting is far too thick on the badge, I had an issue with a john parris cue and JP told me that he did use a a different badge for a short time, but told me the wrighting was thiner. than the his current badge

That sale obviously fell thro as its back on ebay, here is the answer to me questioning the mini butt joint and "dodgy" badge
"i am sorry that my camera is not up to your standards,i got this cue from master cue makers of shrewsbury where they also made the mini butt, as you think my cue is dodgy you had better stay well away as you can tell i am affended by your message as i am a genuin ebayer"
So maybe cue is genuine after all but with someone elses mini butt

its more than that - its not a jp cue.

Well somebody just bought it, so if its genuine a bit of a bargain

personally i think its fake badge not real parris if it looks too good to be true it probably is

from the pics, the mini butt is obvious, and it's not one of parris', although as we know it could be added on afterwards... but...

the olive coloured veneer looks too thin and dodgy as it fades off too early, but we need better pictures to confirm...

but most importantly, the grain of the supposedly kingswood face isn't even lined up with the cue, so if it's a real Parris, then John must have stuffed up big time...

anyway, we need better pics to confirm, which I don't think the seller will provide...
