Where can I buy a Joint?

Now that I've got your attention.

I really do need to buy a couple of cue joints.

I've acquired a really nice handmade cue, but its a one piece and a little light.
This could all be fixed by a 3/4 joint, which I could fit myself, but I need to get the hardware.
I bought 3 joints a while ago but the guy's no longer in that business and it seems no-one in Aus imports them for resale.
Any ideas/offers?

wouldnt think thered be too much difference in price V quality, so id say contact one of the sites with a link on here and start there, as a joint is a joint, is a joint. isnt it?

Everyone is happy to sell a jointed cue but nobody (AFAIK) advertises just joints.
Otherwise I wouldn't be asking, would I?

my point was that no matter where you get a cue joint from theyre likely to be a similar price in relation to quality, so directed you to the sites linked to on here to see if theyve got more info for you

Not sure whether they offer it anymore but Craftsman cues should be able to help out. I have seen them advertise joints for cues on Ebay in the past but it may be worth e-mailing them or phoning them to see. They use good quality joints too.

I think adding a joint yourself without the skill of a cue doctor could end in tears. It might completely ruin the blance of the cue. To add extra weight you could extend the butt instead of adding a joint? Or perhaps use a plutonium ferrule!
