  • The Perfect Case

I have tried a few different cases in my time and have never been completely happy with one so........

I would love to know what would be the features of your perfect Cue Case or if you already have it what makes your case perfect for you?

No detail is too small so please tell me all about:

Size, Shape, Materials, Weight, Compartments, Handles, Catches, Hinges, Seals, Security, Portability, and anything else I haven't thought about.

    No this isn't a Fetish

personally I like a case that is as small as it can be to fit the cue (easier to carry around!). I like some sort of design on the case aswell, not just plain material. Also, I always think the suede inner material looks nice.

I love my case as its solid and keeps the cue safe and cool.

Its black aluminium so its looks good as well.

Good shout on the size tommt1990, some of my cases have been bigger than they needed to be. Suede is nice as I find it grips the cue well when closed.

I liked my alu case Jaffa because I never had to worry about scuffing it!

i have been meaning to get a customized american pool cue case like this, made to snooker length specs, up to 60'' interior.

plus, the good thing about these cases is that it would be fantastic storage for people who have a lot of cues.

imagine having 9 cues, and put them into one single case!!, instead of having stacks of boxes, tubes and so on!

well, obivously no fancy tooling options. i cant afford that.
the aim is to securely hold my cues in one slim, compact case.

              i foudn this guy.
his name is john barton, i foudn his name and saw his website and reviews on azbilliards. his website is jbcases.com

you'll find a lot of options, pictures, and interior options

that said, i still havent made my purchase yet, i dont know which interior to get, because im erally scared of my cues wraping inside the case. would that happen? maybe someone could shed light on this matter for me?

that would be putting all my eggs into 1 basket

I'd like it big enough for at least 2 cues plus accessories. I'd like a seperate chalk and gadget compartment with a lid, so the case stays clean. I'd like it to close with a good seal, unlike most leather cases. It should have great hinges unlike most cases. Some brass around the edges to protect the corners and be made out of strong leather, or hard wearing pvc, and it should have seperate compartment on the outside, and a handle on the top and one on the side, so two people can carry it in the club with all my weight, while I sit aloft being fanned with palm trees and fed cherries.

Nice cases Jonny, the cue compartments remind me of my Golf Bag which kind of makes sense as just like Golfers American Pool players have different 'weapons' depending on the shot being played (Break, Jump etc....).

This is just the sort of response I was after because it feels that we have a pretty standard formula for our cases in the UK and it may be for good reason or it is just something we have not questioned enough!

I think it would be easier to take the table to the cues :-)

Cue Craft aluminium case for me, solid as a rock, total quality & quite a few colours too. Best case ever.

Yes I happily had one for a while and it certainly did it's job, just not the best looking option. Also I did wonder whether Aluminium was the best choice of material given it's a very good conductor of heat and will quickly transfer heat or lack of heat to the contents.

Crispian jones makes stunning cases, apart from him Stamford and parris seem to be quite popular.

But if you're looking for safety and durability nothing can beat a cue craft alloy case.
RIP NOEL, A TRUE TSF LEGEND.
