Things normally always cock up for me regarding purchases, but I managed to get a great case and a geat cue in the end, so my time on here is nearly done.

What it does do though is free up my cheapest cue, and I have a very good home lined up for it.

I help some lads with their game, and last week, while one of the tables was free, a young lad had picked up a club cue, and started to knock a few balls around, with the light off.

He must have been about 10 I reckon. I put 20p in the light for him and figured he'd be gone by the time the light went out, but to his credit, he stuck with it, so I showed him how to hold the cue etc and put in another 20p.

Eventually the older lads regained the table and the lad went back into the bar area, to where I presume his dad 'might' work.

I've been thinking about the little guy all week, so next time I'm in there, if he's there, he's going to get a free cue on me.
