I agree with a lot that you said firefrets, but the fact is regardless of price a peice of wood is not man made and can warp for any number of reasons.
Trevor took the cue back and repaired it, If the bend has returned then he is entitled imo to ask for either a replacement or his money back.
He does not say if he has given TW either of these options? He then goes on to ask can anyone recommend a good cue maker? implying that trevor is not. I still think that this guy is looking for a magic cue, which don't exsits.
I wish him the best of luck with getting a new cue but I think he has gone about this in the wrong way and remember we only have his word that there was anything wrong with the cue.
I hope TW gets to see this post and gives his side of the story.

      I have the same sentiments.
It's up to the both of them to find an agreement, and only the 2 of them know the truth. I think I said as much throughout. You can't take sides in these matters. All you can do is offer an option I guess.

      Have a great weekend.

I'm sure you don't mean any harm with your picture, but I've seen guys get banned for similar on the net. Joke taken, but might I suggest you take the picture down before it causes offense, or Ferret sees it.

Some words are a big no no on the net, and that's one of the biggest.
        All the best.

I'm sure that it's not intended to be offensive. It is term that is used quite often. I think the word is only offensive when used in as a from of abuse or attack.

          Ps
          Have a good weekend yourself

As stated previously, it seems strange that everything was fine with the cue untill a "friend" pointed out the cue wasn't straight. Why did it take so long to find out the cue wasn't straight? I would have noticed it before I even played my first game. I am sure there is a reason as to why the cue isn't "Straight".....

All this talk of straightness and getting bent is making Ferret blush.

for your information, I didn't try to imply anything. It was the first cue I bought from TW, and that was it. Actually, I did sent TW an email explaining the same situation a few days ago and i did not get reply. I am not sure whether he saw the email or not, but i am sure he is very busy as always.

I don't think posting this thread will damage TW's reputation. It merely is for people who read this understand where i came from.

The reason I didn't ask for a replacement or money back is that first it has been 2 years since I bought the cue, although the issuse is probably present most of the period. Secondly, I have gone through the processing of repackaging the cue and send it back and wait for a while for it to come back. Also, most people here said it was good customer service for TW to cover the postage, I appreciate that, but it seems everyone has forgotten that i had to pay to send the cue back and it also costs 60 pounds which I don't feel rightly spent. Anyway, that was the reason. I always told myself i was unlucky. That is the explaination i got for myself so far. On more thing, the cue is stored in nice case, and the case is in a wooden locker, and the locker is in a 2-years old snooker club, and the snooker club is the middle of China where the temperature is not sever in anyway.

But if you know [as most ppl who have communicated with TW will know, given he is a one man unit] that he is "very busy as always" why even bring up the point "I did sent TW an email explaining the same situation a few days ago and i did not get reply." ?

trevor is on holiday i believe.

i could answer the topics raised in this thread but to be honest i find myself too lazy so i will just give you a few points.

                                1. every cue regardless of who made it is different.

2.so far i have never seen a good cue made in china, it will happen i am sure but not yet. thailand yes lots, but not china.

3 trevor white, mike wooldridge, john parris, dave coutts, robert osbourne etc etc earned their reputations for a good reason.

                                4. wood is a natural product, it requires care.
