Things I now know about Splicing

1. It is not a 5 minute job.
2. The addition of a seemingly interested Teenager doesn't help and they soon lose interest when they realise there is a Snooker cue but no Snooker table.
3. Measure, Measure, Measure, Think about cutting, Measure, Measure, Cut
4. A Cue's length seem fine in Snooker clubs but are actually pretty long once in a workshop
5. There is a fine line between too much and too little glue.
6. Make sure your clamps are set wide enough, but not too wide, to avoid frantic winding while your splice piece is sliding downwards on a river of glue.

this is going to be interesting Stu. when youll start numbering your cues ill have either N1 or N147 is thats a deal??? and im being dead serious here
