Maybe all his Ultimate Ash shafts have suffered the dreaded "Dieback" disease?

I must admit 18 months plus is way too long to wait for a cue unless your requirements was so awkward and rare that it's almost impossible to find the timber to make the cue to correct spec.

Well if true that the other chap had to wait 7 months for a Traditional you can only put it down to a huge backlog of orders. Obviously the Q&A section says otherwise with a wait of 8-16 weeks for standard 1pc cues so if that is anything to go by then orders are possibly taking twice the length of time than is stated.

I think Parris need to consider closing the book on orders for at least 6 months whilst they catch up, possibly closing off made to measure range altogether for maybe 12 months or more. Its not right to miss lead customers in this way. If this is anything to go by I could be looking at 2014 before mine is ready and I'm not prepared for that wait when I was initially led to believe it was 12 months max.
