there seems to be a proliferation of these jokers asking ridiculous prices for cues. in comparison fedia seems cheap

Hmmm, that price is a bit strong. I think even one of Jimmy White's black plates only fetched around £1800 last year, but all the best to ya if you can sell your cue for that kind of money.

So how does receipt make it more valuable It just shows you paid a hell of a lot less than your asking ??? that works fine for almost new cues maybe to prove cost when justifying price.
I still have my receipt for my 1st bike but that doesn't make it worth a fortune

OMG!!!!!!!
I have sold a few of Will Hunt cues and Osbornes but I would never ask for a stupid price for them. I like the buyers to offer a price and if it is ok then I trade but I would never dream of selling one at theis ridiculous price.
I have sold some beautiful black plates for less than half that price but hey good luck, you'll need it.

I think you'll find it was the machine spliced cues which were the blue plates that they made.
