This is all very confusing Trev, the way Matt talks about his "new" cue sounds as tho it came from you brand new ????????????????????
Matt even mentions order dates and things ??????????????

Nothing confusing about it, read my post above, that explains it accurately.

Feel free to ask Matt to post up the email he sent me. That explains it too.

As one of the above post's the fella worded it as a a new cue, It was'nt a dig at you Trevor. The MACASSAR cue is superb, Havent had much table time with it, Did you recieve my PM/EMAIL regarding the matching mini butt for the cue.

Didnt want to confuse anyone with this thread but the cue wasnt brand new i just explained that it was a new cue to me which was a present for my birthday didnt want to cause any confusion about the whole matter and i am unaware of how old the cue as my dads friend had it before me but the condition is immaculate just like it was just made.

Yes Trevor did offer to fix any problem i had with the cue even though it was not made recent and i appreciate that alot as not many cue makers would do that and i thank him with the offer.

If there is anymore confusion about this feel free to ask Thanks Matt

                Fair enough Matt.
(But thats not what you implied in post no 5, you picked out design, and your Dad had it made for you etc)

                  Well, contradiction after contradiction here...

First of all you say it was a surprise that your dad placed the order for a new cue, then you say you went for this design cos you couldnt afford one like rons then you say your dad took specs and placed the order..now it's off your dads friend..

Can't keep up with ya mun...lol.

I have just read this whole thread and after initially being quite concerned that a "new TW cue ferrule came loose" i have came to this conclusion. The cue was NEW to Matt and mabey his dad told him he had indeed ordered it from Trevor as a birthday present then when the ferrule became loose Matt has contacted Mr White only to be told it wasn't a recent spec order. His old man then has to 'fess-up that he bought it off a mate down the club and Matt has now disowned the old charlatan. What hasn't changed though is the fact that the cue is still NEW to Matt and above all else Trevor White offered to put it right even though it wasnt a recent purchase from himself. both top chaps in my oppinion and Matt....let it go with your Dad now son, life is too short

Well im guess im being confusing and misleading with what had initially wrote and i apologise. To set the whole story staright well try to, My Dad had asked me what i wanted for my birthday and i said a new cue then he asked me what cues do i like and what specs have you got in mind and i told him that i like the Parris ulitmates but he said to me that they was a bit much so i said fair enough and he said what other cues you got in mind and i said i wasnt bothered to be fair as it played well so i said to him just go simple with a plain design.

He said to me have you got any cue makers in mind and i said no not really but i have heard alot of great things about Trevor White cues so i asked what about them and he said fine leave it with me i will get you one and he took the specs of my last playing cue which is a custom Tony Glover.

Then a few days before my birthday he told me that he had got me this Trevor White cue which i thought was new but was actually been bought of one his friends that i didnt know about but the way when i got it the condition was prestine so i just assumed that it had been ordered directly from Trevor.

Also by me writing my 'New' cue i mean it was new to me.

Hope that clears the confusion up and i dont really know how to explain the rest i have tried my best lol.

                        Thanks Matt
