Glad to hear another person is happy with there Dunn's cue..For the money i don't think they can be beat on Quality,Feel,Looks or Playability..makes me wonder why people would pay £500 for a cue...

        good luck with it !

The only thing i dislike about Dunns cues are the crappy extensions they give. But for the price you pay you could really class those as freebies. I've emailed Vernon for a quote of a Macassar Ebony mini butt and 19" Extension. And i got a reply of £40 posted to the U.K which in my eyes is a bargain.

The issue with the extensions provided is that they are made from aluminium. So are very light. And i mean very very light. When cueing with them attached they make your cue feel really front heavy. Making try to over compensate the power. Generally resulting in a miscue i find. So i can't wait to get the new ones now XD

I emailed Dunns for a quote on a pool spec plain Maple/Ebony cue and I was a little surprised that the price was £155. Which is obviously significantly more than cues that they make with expensive woods spliced in. I guess I'm paying for the fact that it would be a custom build.

Still, for a basic design and for something imported I would have expected slightly cheaper (Maybe £120 - £130) so I didn't bother going ahead with the order.

Are these cues made in England or China?
              Hand spliced or machine?

I believe it to be Thailand and the cues are finished in hong kong.

Just placed an order for a customised cue with Dunns, ended up going for a cue with a long butt with a joint in the Splices. Mocked up a little diagram to give an idea of how i'd like it to look, not an amazing pic but gives a general idea:
