There are some interesting replies here, I wouldn't say that I agree with all of them, but is interesting to see how everyone has there own take on it. I was thinking of asking JP to add to this debate, but I think it's unlikely given there seems to be a certain level of hostility to his company. It's true to say that john don't make all his cues and he is training a future generation of cue makers (who knows one of them may turn out to be the best cue maker ever) John does however oversee the work and still buys a selects the timber.
There are many comments on here about johns working practices from members, I would like to know where they get there information from and can they back up there claims.
