try this on for confusing, I had a guy who was really interested in the cue and when he asked me to name my price I just didn't want to let the cue go, I couldn't stand the thought of ordering another cue and waiting months for it to be made. So I'm going to give this cue another chance. So am with drawing it from sale at this moment in time.
Thanks everyone for the interest.

but now you want to give the TW another go in case it is "the one" after all ...

I just want to add that after giving some thought I don't see how the balance point can be the problem. It has to be the butt size. We all know that before you've even potted a ball with a cue it has to feel right in the hand. This game is played in the mind as much as anything else and these things, no matter trivial they may seem can have a massive impact on your game. To answer your question inoff it's hard to explain but I feel like when I'm delivering the cue that I'm not squeezing the butt at the correct time in the stroke, When I try to do the del hill drive I feel like my cue hand is to far advance of the vertical in the address position and this is throwing my timing out.
I have to go with my gut on this one, if finding the perfect cue was easy we’d all have are perfect cue but unfortunately there is no set formula that we can use to work it out.

The cue is going back to TW to be resplice in order to thicken the butt I was going to have the balance point altered by having the cue made into a 3/4 but have decided against this action as it would devalue the cue if I dont get on with it. I've had some nice breaks with the TW cue and there is no doubting the quality of the cue so I'm going to give it every chance.
If not the first time, then yeah, I'll be sending the cue back to TW also, until it's as good as I feel it can be for me. Glad you're sticking with it Caz, will be worth it in the end. Like your pictures showed, cracking piece of wood m8!

Thanks for the support inoff. I went down the culb today and had a mare, it could be all the drink I had last night lol. I did improve however but had to change my grip to suit the cue. I had to play with a SH style grip with a straight wrist, instead of the RO type grip I've been using since seeing del hill.
