  • Wa cue and wanty it on a table before buying

Hi guys, I am slowly getting closer to buying my ideal cue. I really value the advice I have received so far; this forum really works! I am 5.9 and wonder if anyone knows the best cue length for someone of my geight or is that a stupid question. Lots of people are quoting 58" is that about right. I also think I need a 9.5 mm tip and definitely want to try a one piece cue having plyed all my life with a 3/4 butt full size. I like the Trevor cues and alos Mastercraft (Shropshire) so thanks to those who put me in touch with these sites. I am not really worried about the cost (within reason). I will not but a Paris because I am not that good and I think it would look pretentious (if you know hwat I mean!). I like the maple effect butt ends on some that I have seen. I was watching Hendry yesterday and his butt had that effect. Otherwise I want to keep t simple. Definitely ash though. The question is, is there somewhere locally (Bristol area) that i can find quality ro cue makers and have the opportunity to try something similar out first on a table. I cant see how I can spend 3 or 400 quid or more on a cue without knowing and experiencing how it feels? Cheers guys
