yea he was but he is working all week so will have to be next week, i was putting it on hold because someone was selling a peradon king with mini butt and telescopic extender and leater case, but after reading reviews about the peradon king i decided against it, i thought it was a good price thought at £150 for the lot

I recently perchased a mastercraft cue and I can say for the money you won't get a better cue.

I think your biggest issue lies on what specs will suit you most. In order to sort this out, you should try out more cues with different specs to see which specs you feel most comfortable with. Take the measurement to match it with any stock cues available in the market or go for a custom made one. I believe the specs is more vital than the choice of cuemakers in your case.

faman I've been fiddling around for the last couple of years looking for the ideal cue to replace my 28 year old Rex Williams Powerglide. Let me say there's absolutely no substitute for visiting someone who sells cues and trying them out so I would say a visit to Craftsman Cues would be a good idea. Personally I've experimented with buying cues "remotely" thru the internet and haven't yet really got something which is exactly what I want. I have a Mastercraft Eclipse and a Craftsman Century. Both are nice cues. I think the Craftsman is better but that doesn't mean that ALL Craftsman Cues are better than ALL Mastercraft Cues. All cues are different and you need to have them in your hands and hit some shots before you can say what one is right for you.
I was down at Sheffield last week and took the opportunity of visiting CHESWORTH CUES. They have quite a selection of cues from various makers and I could easily have found one that I liked. I've seen some posts which suggest that Chesworth might be a bit on the pricey side but I would have been quite happy to pay a little extra if the cue was right for me. There was a stunning Mastercue which I really liked. Luckily lol I didn't have my credit card with me!!!
Despite my previous experiences and advice given in this post I have gone down the "buying remote" method AGAIN and have ordered up a C Brand cue from Thailand. (Unclevit on The Forum). I've seen and held an example of his work and they are very impressive for the money. I'm hoping to take delivery of my new cue in 5/6 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be right for me but there's no guarantees.
            Good luck.

Bigmeek is spot on , i recently bought a T W from martin chesworths that i knew was way overpriced . however having the fortune of trying the cue frirst hand i was happy to pay the price as i knew it felt very nice . If i was buying blind i would have never thought about paying the asking price .

Well it was about 40% dearer and i would have not payed the price if i were buying blind but once i held and had a few shots with the cue it felt so nice that i could,nt let it go .

I,m waiting to get pics to Trev to see if he can shed some light as to whether the cue is brand new .

I also paid a visit to Chesworth Cues whilst at the Crucible this week. A fantastic selection of cues in stock considering how small his shop is. Well worth a visit.

                        It's only a wee 6 x 3 but better than nothing.

I have been to Martin Chesworths also he is a great man and yes the table is only small but it is better than nothing but it is quite a decent quality table so well worth a visit the first time i went i was very suprised how many cues where for sale as the shop isnt that big like mentioned. Martin is a great man always willing to help and his service is superb i wouldnt go to any other shop if i couldnt help it.

Not surprising, he asks for so much more than the others do. You pay for his service.

I think its bigger than 6x3 as the balls are full size tcb so the pockets must be bigger . I would say it,s 8 foot .
