parris cues - prices went up?

anybody else noticed that the prices for parris cues increased last couple of days??

id tryed the cue maker "special" and all the sudden a few days a go the price for the same cue almosted exploded.

was kinda shocked because i was thiking of ordering one.

but the current prices are kinda untasty imho.

Maybe he's seen what Fedia's been getting up to and worked out what he can get away with... haha

To be honest you have to expect this. He's made a huge investment in this site and you'd have to think that this will result in an increase in demand. He can profit from that in two ways, expand operations (beyond that tiny little room packed with craftsmen) which will affect public perceptions of quality, or increase prices.

Which would you prefer?

thank you guys for your replys.. im a huge fan of his cues and his craftmanship is realy superb.

about 3 weeks ago i tryed the "build your own cue" tool.. the "special" cue with plain butt ebony cost something about 320-340 gbp. now its up to over 400.

if anyone does his maths, you know thats a big difference in %.

The special cue plain butt still comes up at 340 gbp here but i dont have to pay vat which you would have to.

May have been something wrong in the system when you first looked at it .340gbp plus 20% vat= 408 gbp.

On old site it used to be £340.....but that was without VAT....so now with 20% added on its £408

Don't get what you getting at gazza ??? only very high price ones are the Ultimates....but they always were ???
