Hi, Caz, remember the comments from previous posts.Dont overthink, relax into your stance ( until it becomes second nature) and above all ,be comfortable in stance, bridge and action.Dont force yourself to play in an uncomfortable way because that will ruin your timing and rhythm for sure.I am glad playing with a straighter bridge arm and shorter bridge at address has helped. You are well on your way,now all you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself, the breaks will come.

It may sound strange but where does the feel come from when you strike the white, does it come from the butt? does it come from the tip? or does it come from the balance point, or all three working to gether and if any one is not right for you the cue feels dead and un responsive. Yet someone else can pick up the same cue and it works for them.

I hear you; I've clamed down on the table and have given up the cigs for nearly a month now, and should join the gym soon. I'm starting to enjoy my snooker again. But tiredness is my biggest enemy.

I'm guilty of not using the gym as much as I should. Started up again a few days ago. Sure, it's hard at first, but over time your body will adapt and you WILL get more energy.
