Just head of a cue maker called Tony Ions. Can anyone tell me more?

Tony is very good at making replicas of old cues and i think he's based in Newcastle area

Definitely, but choice of cues is all down to the user, ive had all 3 you mention, but only still have the Welshpool cue which was superb value for money (think i paid about £115 delivered) The Mastercue was maple which i just couldn't get on with, and the Tony Ions Stevenson replica was again a great cue but too light for me as a playing cue. Got to make your own mind up i'm afraid !
