I purchased a Welsh Pool Trading cue a while back, and my experience with them is generally not good. The maple shaft warped after 6 months...

I bought a Welsh Pool Trading cue about 5 years ago and it's great - I thoroughly recommend them ...

Whilst Paul of WPT never publicised it, I think they were made by Mastercraft in Shropshire (I think), either completely made by them to his spec or possibly made by them and finished by him ... but either way, they are effectively Mastercraft cues who have a very good reputation ...

Thats interesting, as someone told me they were not made by Paul himself, but wouldn't tell me who did lol. I always suspected Craftsman as they did a similar model to mine

i bought a custom cue from welshpool trading when he used the 8 ball badge around 6 years ago and it came with a mastercraft badge he said he had them left over from somewhere i suppose thats good enough proof.
