Agreed. TBH, I think in all honesty I truly don't know my specs ( which backs up what you said ). Just hoping Trev can pull it off for me ( I'm sure he will ), because it won't be the cue that's the problem, but me.

I don't completely agree here. I think when we're all different sizes ourselves you can't just have a completely set standard specification. I play better with a slightly heavier, slim cue. So I'm not about to adapt to a standard. If I'm getting a cue built I'm absolutely going to tell the cue maker how I want it made.

You either adapt to the cue, or you get a cue that's been adapted for you. Of course, this assumes you have tried different lengths, sizes etc and know what you play best with.

I would agree with that although when I was younger I could play with anything so long as it was decent but not so sure now. I know what I like in a cue now and would always stick to the same specs. I think alot of it is in the head though.

Haha. If only. Here's hoping. Similar to LWB's post above, my JP is def. on the slim side and heavy in the butt. I'm tempted to send this cue to Trevor so he can make a cue ( as close to it ), with a 27.5mm butt, just an idea. Gonna be some more waiting tho LOL.

Where abouts are ya in the country?

If u are that worried about specs and cue being right for you. Why dont u go to craftsman or greenbaize where u can try the stock cues and pick one which feels right for you.

Just ordered my new JP and gone for a bit more weight. Its 20oz, 57" in length along with an 10mm elky. And no I did no demo, I think with any stat/cue you only know if your going to like it after a long session, a quick demo will not be long enough for you to put your finger on one. In fact it could well confuse the issue, specially if you like a few of them. I take the gamble..
