  • Which cue do you currently use? Part 2

I stumbled accross this thread the other day, and I wondered how many people who posted in it are still using the same cue just over a year later?

    http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...-cue-do-u-use?

I know people are forever changing cues, so I thought it might be interesting to find out......

For the record, i'm currently using a Dan Shelton (taboo subject, I know ), with my trusty machine spliced Riley Paul Hunter as back up.

I use an Aeon 3/4 cue.
            Approx 20 years old
            57 1/4" ish
            Ash
Ebony splice/butt with 4 sycamore(?) veneers over 4 snake wood splices, with a face veneer and Ebony splice.
            Spiralock joint
            Around 18 oz
The cue has been used by 2 different people to win the Coventry Individual Championship on several occasions, and is a beautiful looking and playing cue. Don't need or want another cue, as I can be crap with anything, and I paid good money to be crap with this one!
If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

Using :Two piece maple cue, approx 17oz at 57 inches. Brand unknown. Not mine though, I am just a regular user of it, it is one of those better 'house' cues for regulars kept in an unlocked locker

Have used both of my first TW cues since I received them. The one with one splice for roughtly 8 months and now using the one in my Avatar for about 4 months.
The newest one since those two, a 3/4 ash with plane ebony butt, not much at all as the balance is a couple of inches too far back for me, not what I really wanted.

Hello Neil, I do realise it is about time you had some more cues in your armoury, so make me an offer I cannot refuse for the two piece one ... lol. If the balance had been where I wanted it, I think it would be better than my two other cues. Apart from the balance (for me), it is a nice playing cue.
