              Hi Cameron,
I hope you are enjoying your cue .

What a read this forum has been lol ...... a nice cup of coffee on my day off and a good chuckle reading some of the posts.

Hi Gaz I know you love Mastercue, so do I for that matter they produce some fantastic cues ;-)

The difference between the 2 cues is build quality, it's been pointed out that the GBL cues have better splice work which is correct, more even and consistent form, the woods are very carefully selected, in general more time and care is put into the making.
Only about 400 GBL cues have ever been made, a maximum amount of GBL cues made each year is about 100.
Mastercue must be producing 1000s of cues every year which will mean the consistency is going to be a little up and down, but for the price of the cues you can't go wrong, great value for money and as Gaz pointed out they are just about always good players.

              A good cue ?
It's been said a million times before, a good cue isn't about who made it or how much it cost it's finding a cue you can play with, a cue that suits you as a player, and importantly does what you need to do when playing.
people when selecting a cue have all different requirments, I don't mean just specifications of the cue, but being able to have confidence in the cue, some players need to know the cue is a well known brand to have piece of mind, some players couldn't careless if it's a 100 year old broom handle as long as it does the job, but at the end of the day you need to be happy with what you are using or it will end up not being used by you !

Time up time to go take care all x

I wonder how many people went to find out for themselves after seeing this thread. It was probably a great ad for his service.
