  • Kamui Tips

    Hi there

Not sure if this is in the right place or not.

I am wondering if ADR147 still has any of these tips in stock?

If you could pm me with info on ordering some then that would be great.

I cant PM anybody for some reason.

    Thanks

    Gav

You cannot use Pm's cos you do not have 10 posts yet. Ask ADR on here, and he will most likely answer you.

Normal RRP for one of these tips is £12 in the UK." if i had the time i would report him to the tax man for investigation. i have already published what it costs us to stock them honestly.
This was posted by ADR on another thread which looks like he doesn't stock them no more.

Personally I think they may be too hard for pool, I prefer a softer tip.

You can get Kamui Medium Black tips from Coutts Cues via their website and you can get the MH from Stu at GreenBaize via paypal/mailorder at their website.

The Mediums may do you for UK pool but I'm no expert on that game

Personaly I wouldn't use a Kamui medium for 8 ball, it just didn't feel right when I hit the cue ball, but they are great for snooker. unfortunatly I chipped the edge of mine and at 9.50 a pop I won't be getting another one any time soon, so I have reverted back to pro granites which are excellent for snooker and pool, also cheaper. Kamui do a soft version of the tip if you can find someone who sells them, they may be slightly better for 8 ball. By all means give the medium a go, you may like it, you may not. Let us know how you get on.

Nothing wrong with kamuis for pool
I use them cut down to 8.3 mm
I tend to like the tan ones better than the blacks

                          Yeah I've tried both
                          I like reasonably hard tips
I thought the tans hold chalk better
                          than the blacks
so even iff they are a bit harder
which I'm notcsure of I just think
they play a bit better for me anyway
aurora tips are another very good layered
tip I've used them for pool too
