• Seeing if There's a Market Out There

I have 2 brand new cues to my specs which I should probably sell off just to get them out from under my table.

Both cues are 3/4 ash/ebony, 18.2oz, 9.5mm brass, 57", 29mm butt and balance at 17". Both are straight and both come with 2 extensions.

The first is a Robin Cook with plain ebony butt price 350pounds including shipping world-wide (well, maybe not Antarctica) SOLD

The second is an LK.T which I unfortunately paid a lot of money for but just can't get on with it. It has a Family I shaft, a titanium/brass joint and a great feel and hit. With shipping, duty and taxes I paid $935(CAN) which works out to around 550pounds or about 500 for the cue without shipping. I will sell this one for 400pounds including shipping. This cue has one fancy splice and veneer and the workmanship is top class. SOLD

If anyone wants photos email me at 'terrydavidson45(at)gmail(dot)com' and I will send them to you right away. Shipping will be Express Air.

For any Canadians interested I will negotiate as shipping would be less

Terry

Terry, if you open an account in photobucket and upload your pictures there, you can paste the image link in your post and show the pictures of your cues in details.
Good luck with your sales.

lloouu - the LK.T is still available and I will include shipping world-wide

Jason - I will send some pictures a little later today when I go down and practice as this computer doesn't have the photos.

pqj - I'm too lazy. But I guess but the real reason is my internet service. I have 5Mb down however in this rural wireless environment I only have about 100Kb uplink so it takes FOREVER to upload photos at 450Kb each and it seems much faster to email the photos

Sending them via email is effectively uploading them, only you have to do it once for every person who wants to see them. Also, in the case of email you'll be "uploading" them to your email server in one of the email encoding forms, the best of which makes binary files (photos etc) larger by almost 1/3 of their size. So, email should take even longer than photobucket, I would have thought.. odd that it seems not to

I tried uploading photos to my TSF album and it took 2 attempts and it took forever. Remember, I'm effectively a dinosaur when it comes to this new-fangled computer stuff

The TSF album is not necessarily that easy to use.

You could try something like DropBox for example:
http://www.dropbox.com/

Essentially it makes a special folder on your computer which you just drop files in. It will sync that local folder with a remote folder on another computer, or device (phone), or sync it with a virtual folder on the drop box web site. You can configure folders on the web site to be private or shared, and indicate which ones contain photos etc. Then you can link to the shared folders in your messages here on the forum, or in emails, or.. etc.

Once you're set up you just drop files into the local folder on your computer, go off and play a frame or two, come back and check it's complete, grab the link and email/post/etc.

I've not use Photobucket, which poolqjunkie mentioned, but it probably works in a similar way.

Without trying to complicate the issue, photobucket is simple and easy to use if you want to be able to have all your uploaded photo's in one place.

Alternatively you can use www.imageshack.us Upload the photo's you want, then copy the code and paste between
