Cue advice (Indian)

I dont play snooker professionally nor am i looking forward for it.
I just love to play snooker. Currently i have a cheap cue and i'm willing to buy a new cue.
Any suggestions? I was hoping Master Cue? Not looking for a expensive one as i dont play it professionally.. Just as my hobby

Do you know how much wud a 3/4 master cue cost ? Brand new ? My budget is 3k I hear the range is from 2.5k onweards..

Mastercue range starts from 5.5k onwards i.e tournament,tudor.(machine spliced).
Brand new Probutt comes for 8.5k.
You will have to up your budget.

I just called a dealer in my area.
He said he had 2 Master Cues available. 1 was ProButt for 4k and other for 4.5k
Is this a genuin cue?

no way these must be second hand cues or fake.
4k is way below the Trading price.

A dealer in Churchgate (Mumbai) told me he had 2 MasterCues. 1 was for 4k and other was for 4.5k. He said its a ProButt.
Now, how am i to know if its a genuine cue or a fake one ?
A friend of mine told me that theres a cue named Master Cue Tournament for 4.5k
Do you have any idea about the starting range of Master Cue? If not, can you tell me how do you know if its a genuine cue or not..

Yes.MasterCue Tournament starts from 4.5k.I had procured one from Chennai a month back.The cost of the tournament cue was 4.5k with 2k for a leather case.And I also had ordered a pro-butt and sure it was 8.5k and above.So according to what you are saying,the one he quoted for 4.5k as a probutt is a fake or maybe used.

There is no way you can get a new probutt for 4.5k,it must be second hand and yes you may get a new tournament cue close to that range.

I'm afraid to buy a cue from unauthorised dealer.. i might end up buying a fake one. Does any one know a genuine dealer for Master Cue in India ?
