can anybody give me a rough guide to the value of my burroughs and watts "mascot" cue.. i think it is pretty unusual as it is maple.. it is in vgc.. cheers.

I know you get square and round badges versions, also green or yellow round badge versions with black writing.
Maybe you should add a link to a pic ?

you have a first edition then if the badge is round and green..i bought one about 10 years ago for £200 but in todays market i would say it would be worth £140 to £180.

Cue Guru website has a photo of both a 1st and 2nd Edition.Round green badge is 1st edition,now if it was a yellow badge then some collectors would pay serious money.Cue market strange at the moment,a 1st ed in ash,in good and unaltered condition is usually £150 ish (unless someone really wants it) as to maple ,no idea.Hope this helps.

The Mascot Cue was made by Burroughes & Watts from 1930s to 1960s. The Mascot Cue was advertised as made from selected ash but it ranked at the bottom of the Burroughes & Watts range of "named" hand-spliced cues.
