Hi there, my birthday's coming up and i'm fancying getting a new cue. I was just wondering if anyone knows how i can get hold of either an Uncle Thai, O min, or a Unique branded plain ebony one piece cue made to my specs? If so do you think I'd be able to get one for £150 or below? By the way if the custom specs is out of the question my perferred specs would be around 9mm tip, 18-19oz and 57'' length. Thank you

O Min Classic (plain ebony butt) is 800myr ordering direct from them, and you personalise the spec. This works out to approx £163, so slightly over budget. In terms of a cue to your own spec, I think you won't get one for £150. There are other cues available elsewhere if you are prepared to use a different brand, but you have been quite specific in what you want so might struggle.
If you are prepared to go for Mastercue, try greenbaize - http://www.greenbaize.co.uk/
Or Craftsman cues do a "147 cue" which is what you are describing, personalised to your specs for £167. http://www.craftsmancues.com/acatalo...ard_range.htmlIf you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

Yes I was looking at some Mastercraft cues, but was just seeing if I could get my hands on one of the brands I mentioned above for around the same price. I don't mind buying a second hand one if in very good condition thoughMust of been a kick

Just a side note, Tony glover has some peradon cues in his workshop for sale, one of them might be similar to your spec and not too badly priced. He quoted me 180 for a 3/4 cue with 4 secondary splices of thuya burl, which isn't cheap, so a plain ebony wouldn't be as expensive... Try phoning him if you're prepared to try a different brand. (He's away until Friday though)If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

Hi CeeJay147
